We know what you want!

Being horse and pet owners ourselves we know how it feels to have something wrong with your animal.

On our website you will find all kinds of information about our state of the art facilities and services, but most important of all; we care!

Kenmare Veterinary Centre is equiped with the latest technology in animal care.
X-ray for instance will be taken with the first digital system in Ireland. The qualitiy is amazing. Within only a few minutes, Henk can show you the X - ray on his laptop and your animal can start its treatment immediately.
If necessary the X - rays can be sent by email to other specialists, horse buyers abroad, referring vets, etcetera.

Further service contains state of the art Ultrasound (for instance used on mares, tendons of horses and bladder examination on cats), blood sampling with immediate result, scoping, Artificial Insemination, etcetera.

Stallions and Artificial insemination service

We have offered a comprehensive AI service to breeders since we first opened our Equine Hospital in 2006. Next to that we have top stallions at stud in Kenmare.

Mobile service

Kenmare Veterinary Centre is the only combined registered Equine hospital and small animal hospital in the whole south west! But we have more to offer.

We are the only Equine hospital offering a complete mobile clinic affordable for everyone.

Our vans travel nationwide and have a lot to offer;

Animal welfare and training

Henk Offereins and his staff want to invest time and effort in animal welfare and training of owners and animals. Also animal related clubs are very welcome to use the facilities of the centre. Furthermore a lot of information is available about different topics, such as puppy or kitten care, vaccination, desexing, animal diets or flea control, and animals with behaviour problems.

 Excellent facilities

In the newly built centre you will also find excellent facilities such as examination rooms, surgical theatres, in house laboratory and recovery rooms. All facilities are suitable for both small animals and horses. As an extra service the centre will have a shop where you can buy a range of quality food and diet food for both horses and pets.
