Equine
We are able to offer stallion owners a semen collection facility which will make more stallions available to more mare owners. Also through our extensive contacts with studs both at home and abroad we can now offer breeders our largest ever selection of top quality sires for insemination.
There are a number of exciting young stallions being imported into this area; both show jumping and dressage sires and these horses will be available directly through our centre.
The mare reproduction packages available to breeders at the clinic will include multiple scans to optimise the mare’s fertility at insemination or covering, and detect and diagnose any problems with the mare that may be preventing her from getting in foal. In today's competitive market it pays to breed your mare to the best possible stallion and give her every chance of getting in foal.

Kenmare Veterinary Centre is the only facility that can offer farmers the complete package for cattle breeders. Our vets can carry out all necessary examinations (rectal exam, scanning, blood tests, etc) and our close contacts with AI technicians allow us to advice on the best bull for your cow.
Current services for sheep farmers contain sponging, scanning, blood test, etc. We are preparing an AI and embryo transfer service.
Dog/cat Breeders
Kenmare Veterinary Centre is a fully registered Small Animal Hospital. Our vets and nurses have a great deal of experience with breeding dogs and cats.
Pre- breeding assessment, ultrasound for pregnancy, puppy care, etc can all be carried out under the one roof. Do contact us for sharp deals on vaccination, micro chipping and worming of pups.
